I’m now in my 42nd year of practice in the small town of Bloomfield, NM, which is close to the Four Corners Region, close to Farmington, NM.  I’m now semi-retired working 3 days per week, but I’m looking to fully retire.

My office has roughly 1000 square feet, and it has always been a very small practice.  Nearly 30 years ago I was a certified chiropractic neurologist, dealing mostly with auto-accident cases.

I work alone without office help, and I don’t use electronic health records; I still use paper files.  I have a well-maintained 40-year-plus Fischer X-ray unit, and I had a new cathode ray tube installed into it in 2007.  The X-ray machine is not digital, but a digital unit could easily be attached to it.

I pride myself in fixing up my patients as quickly as possible, mainly through the application of Chiropractic Spinal and Extremity Manipulation.  I also frequently use Cox Flexion-Distraction Manipulation to reduce spinal disc protrusions, lumbar facet syndromes,  spondylolisthesis subluxations, and to increase intradiscal spacing and mobility throughout patients’ spines.  I occasionally use soft tissue techniques, such as Transverse Frictional Massage and Therapeutic Massage.  Occasionally I also use Electrical Stimulation.

The biggest advantage I have to offer in someone taking over my practice is high name recognition in this small town of Bloomfield.  In some cases, I am now treating the grandchildren of my first patients.  I am willing to work alongside a new chiropractic physician for several months to ease the transition.

Job Responsibilities
Front Desk Duties
• Warmly greet patients and visitors, creating a welcoming environment for all.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule patient appointments using Jane electronic health record system.
• Check patients in and out, using basic math skills, collect payments, process billing, and provide detailed receipts. This is currently done through QuickBooks. Having prior knowledge of QuickBooks is beneficial, but not necessary as training will be provided.
• Ensure patient records are organized, updated, accurate, and confidential, including intake forms and lab requisitions. 
• HIPPA certification is required for working with patient files (this certification will be paid for through Functional You LLC if job application is approved).
Administrative Support
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk, reception, and waiting areas. This also includes watering plants, filling the water filter, and the occasional sweeping and mopping of the office. 
• Manage supplement inventory, office supplies, and wellness products.
• Handle patient paperwork, including Functional Medicine new patient paperwork, lab reports, and Chiropractic new patient paperwork. 
• Coordinate Functional Medicine lab tests, track results, and follow up with patients.
• Prepare and organize files for daily patient schedules, including pre-appointment and post-appointment checklists.
Patient Interaction
• Provide patients with information about clinic services and prices, treatment plans, and lab test prices. 
• Briefly educate patients on Functional Medicine and Chiropractic care benefits.
• Assist patients with an understanding that insurance is not covered (we don’t take insurance and are cash only) and cash payment options.
• Handle patient questions and concerns with empathy, directing complex issues to the appropriate team member which would be Dr. Seat.
Team Collaboration
• Work closely with Dr. Seat to help provide smooth clinic operations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care, workflow improvements, and clinic updates.
• Contribute to creating a positive, patient-focused workplace culture.
Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a healthcare office, wellness office, or customer service role (preferred).

Hello and welcome to Greenfield Processor Service LLC. I have been cleaning and maintaining film processors since 1990. I started in Colorado and went to 5 Kodak schools and got certified. In 2001 I moved to Albuquerque and started working on processors here. I then started my own company in 2003, cleaning, installing, maintaining processors and providing fixer, developer and x-ray film ever since.

A few other companies have come and gone but I am still here. I have no plans to retire anytime soon. If your told you have to go to Digital, that is not true, I will still be here cleaning and maintaining processors. I will continue to support the NMCA seminar each year as I am the only one that does for many many years. Feel free to come by my station and ask questions at the seminar this year. I also collect used x-ray film if you have that need. I know of 2 other x-ray companies that come to Albuquerque to service my customers x-ray units, so you have other choices. If you have supplies that I don’t stock, no worries, I am sure I can get those for you as well. I have in stock, x-ray film, fixer, developer and silver recovery units. I am happy to get you quotes on supplies and will NEVER EVER make you sign a contract.

I currently travel to Alamogordo and Artesia, traveling through Roswell. I am willing to go to other cities if needed, feel free to give me a call and see what we can work out. I have never lost a customer because of anger, it has always been because of covid, retirement, digital or they passed away.
